The lovely folk at Abel and Cole sent me a freebie in my box this week. Normally that’s a cause for great joy. Previous freebies have included mince pies, cheese, lemons, olive oil and a recipe book.
This week they sent me a bottle of Beeple Juice. It’s a combination of beetroot and apple, and probably contains the recommended weekly dose of all kinds of vitamins.

How do you know when you have the best Granny in the world?
You ask her for a toy safari jeep, and when she can’t find one she buys a plain white landrover and spends an entire day painting zebra stripes on it for you.
I thought I’d celebrate reaching the halfway point of Project 52 by rustling up a little collage of all my photos. Not a bad wee representation of our year so far.

The chilli plants that DorkySon and DorkyDad planted at the start of the year have gone crazy this week! Oddly enough, the chillies are growing on the two short, stumpy plants. The red ones are Numex, and the green ones are Jalapeno.
We also have two very tall leafy ones – Habanero and Tabasco – which so far have produced nothing.
Can’t wait to chop one of these up and throw it into a pan with some crab pasta!
