I was so chuffed to see my old buddies Ben and Jerry in the news this week, supporting the equal marriage campaign. They have partnered with Stonewall to rename their Oh My Apple Pie flavour Apple-y Ever After. A Ben and Jerry’s Facebook app invites you to ‘marry’ someone of the same sex, and they’ve got a template letter up online for emailing your MP in support of same sex marriage.

The swimsuits and shorts have all been washed and put away… the photos are up on Facebook… and most of my tan fell off in the shower this morning. Yup. Our holiday is officially over.

Today is the first time in five years that I haven’t been in the United States for American Thanksgiving. It wasn’t a celebration that I’d paid any attention to until I met DorkyDad, but it is one that I have to come to love dearly.
